I am not an Audiophile, so won't be able to answer questions intelligently -They were fully tested in front of me by the tech at Magnetic Tape when I picked them up from repair, and it all sounded amazing! I'm saying it twice on purpose. Cleaned all switches, controls, tube sockets. Tested and evaluated tubes, replaced as needed. Replaced both can capacitors, and various electrolytics and coupling caps. Updated selenium rectifier for negative bias voltages using silicon diode and new dropping resistors. Its awesome its old, it's cool, and it needs a new home!

So! With that being said... assume that our instruments may need a fresh set of strings when ya get them, or a little general setup to your personal taste. We do our best to maintain them, but sometimes they hang on the wall a few months and develop tarnished strings, dust, fingerprints, etc.
