Darkglass Electronics' standard V2 bass preamp.
It shares its core character with the original Microtubes B7K, but uses the powerful, dynamic saturation circuit of the B3K, a powerful 4-band EQ, and an added balanced line driver for greater versatility - a bass-dedicated preamp designed for both studio and live use. This version adds selectable center frequencies: LOW MIDS at 1kHz or 500Hz, and HI MIDS at 3kHz or 1.5kHz, enabling distortion tones not possible before.
