Vintage Akai gx-4000d reel to reel tape deck. This machine has been tested and is in working order. Playback and record tested good for both channels. Line and mic inputs work. This machine does have some cosmetic wear including some scuffs and scratches. The worst cosmetic flaw is a scratch near the top center. See photos. Both LED meters light up and are functional. The take up reel spindle is bent near its outer edge, however it doesn't seem to affect functionality. See photos. The volume pots are a little scratchy but would surely clean up with a little cleaning. The mic channel volume pot knob cover is loose and doesn't stay in postion, with a little pressure you can still use it to turn the pot but needs a little tlc to be perfect. Sold as-is.
