The Thunderbird is one of the most recognizable basses ever made, and this one gets you the look and the growl without the Gibson price. Two Epiphone TB Plus humbuckers give it a thick, punchy tone that cuts through a band. Each pickup has its own volume control, plus a master tone, so you can blend anywhere from deep and round to bright and aggressive. The bolt-on maple neck has Epiphone's SlimTaper profile on a full 34" scale.

The classic reverse body has a sunburst center section with a dark burst out to the edges and a white pickguard with the Thunderbird graphic. Hardware is all black: a three-point adjustable bridge, die-cast tuners and black knobs. The black headstock face has a gold Epiphone logo and pinstripe outline.

Condition: Good gloss overall with normal play wear, all shown in the photos. One tuner key has a chipped wing. There's a small finish chip on the inside curve of the headstock's hooked tip and another at the edge next to the strap button on the upper horn. There are light scratches and scuffs along the lower front edge below the bridge and on the headstock face, and some corrosion on the neck plate screws. Includes an Epiphone hardshell case, which works fine and shows scuffs and wear on the outside.
