The 2015 Fender Jimi Hendrix Signature Stratocaster is a highly distinctive model in the Fender Artist Series. Inspired by Hendrix’s iconic 1969 Olympic White Woodstock Stratocaster, it is engineered backwards to replicate the unique tone and string tension Hendrix achieved by flipping and restringing a left-handed guitar to play right-handed

Specifications

• Body & Neck: Classic alder body with a glossy polyester finish. The maple neck features a comfortable 9.5" radius "C" profile with 21 medium jumbo frets.
• The "Reverse" Headstock: This design produces a longer string length for the bass strings, which gives them a tighter, punchier response while making string bends easier on the treble strings.
• Reverse-Slant Electronics: It comes equipped with a trio of American Vintage '65 gray-bottom single-coil pickups. The bridge pickup is reverse-angled, which changes the string-to-pole relationship to yield warm, tight lows and enhanced upper harmonics.
• Signature Aesthetics: The rear of the large 1970s-style headstock sports Jimi Hendrix's signature, and the custom neck plate features an engraved "Authentic Hendrix" silhouette
