Personal Thoughts:
This is a particularly unusual ’57 Reissue and a great example of why the Special Order Custom Shop guitars can be so appealing. The Candy Apple Red Burst finish gives the traditional Goldtop-era ’57 platform a completely different personality, with a far more vivid and individual look than the standard finishes normally associated with this model.

Underneath the custom colour, the specification stays rooted in the classic ’57 Les Paul formula: mahogany body and neck, carved maple top, long neck tenon, rosewood board and a substantial ’50s neck carve. The result should have all the weight, sustain and authority expected from a good Historic Reissue, while the special-order finish makes this example feel considerably rarer and more distinctive.

A very cool Custom Shop Les Paul for someone who wants traditional Historic construction without the usual visual formula. The Candy Apple Red Burst really sets this one apart and gives it strong collector appeal alongside the playing credentials of the ’57 Reissue platform.
