Personal Thoughts:
This is a really strong XSC-2 and a great example of what Xotic does so well: vintage-inspired S-style tone and feel, but with a much more refined boutique specification underneath. The 3-Tone Burst over ash looks superb with the tortoiseshell guard and roasted maple neck, while the light ageing gives it a broken-in appearance without pushing into heavy relic territory.

The neck is a particular highlight here. It is specified as Master Grade roasted maple, with a matching roasted maple fingerboard, 9.5" radius and Jescar FW57110 frets. That combination should give it a very familiar Fender-style feel while still being noticeably smoother and more precise than a strict vintage recreation.

The HSS pickup layout also makes this a very practical all-rounder. Xotic RV-60 single-coils in the neck and middle provide the clear, open vintage-style tones the model is known for, while the RV-PAF in the bridge adds a fuller, more powerful voice for driven rhythm and lead work. Combined with the Gotoh tremolo and locking tuners, it is a very complete modern S-style guitar that still retains plenty of traditional character.

Condition Report:
Excellent condition. The light finish wear and ageing are part of Xotic’s original factory-aged treatment rather than subsequent damage. Beyond the intentional ageing, the guitar presents very cleanly overall with only light signs of careful use. Supplied with its original Xotic hardshell case, certificate of authenticity and factory specification card.
