This is an incredible example of a ’64 SG, weighing in at just 7.8 lbs. It’s extremely comfortable and well balanced, with the fast, comfortable neck profile that makes the 1964 reissue such a great player.
The Murphy Lab aging gives the guitar an authentic vintage look and feel without having to worry about putting the first ding on it. It sounds exactly like you’d want from a great SG—open, resonant, and articulate, with plenty of bite when pushed while still cleaning up beautifully.
