1999 ESP KH-2 Kirk Hammett Signature from the ESP Custom Shop.

Classic early KH-2 specification with bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with skull inlays, reverse ESP headstock and Original Floyd Rose.

This guitar has been played and upgraded. It has had a jumbo refret, and the original active EMGs have been replaced with a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan ’59 in the neck. The result is a powerful, clear and very musical passive setup.

The guitar retains its two original 25kΩ Alpha potentiometers, which are still mounted but disconnected. A newer CTS volume pot has been installed and is currently the only pot connected, giving the guitar a simple, straightforward setup with one master volume control.

One of the standout qualities of this particular ESP is its playability. The neck feels fantastic, and the jumbo frets make playing feel effortless. It is an exceptionally easy, comfortable and fun guitar to play, whether you're playing fast leads, intricate passages or heavy riffs.

A proper 1999 KH-2 with the feel and character these early ESPs are known for, with sensible player upgrades and ready to use.

The guitar comes with a hardshell case.
