For sale is a PRS HDRX 2x12 closed-back cabinet loaded with two Celestion G12H-75 Creamback speakers.

I purchased this cabinet to use with my PRS HDRX setup, which has been part of the amp shootout I've been doing while deciding which amps I ultimately want to keep. I'm narrowing things down now, so this cabinet is being sold along with some of the other gear I no longer need.

The HDRX 2x12 is a fairly substantial cabinet for a 2x12, measuring 32" wide, and has much more of the feel and projection of a larger British-style cabinet than a compact 2x12.

It uses a closed-back design with poplar plywood construction and is loaded with a pair of Celestion G12H-75 Creambacks. The Creambacks give the cabinet a great combination of low-end weight, defined mids and a clear top end without becoming overly harsh.

The G12H-75 is particularly well suited to vintage British-style amps. It has the heavier-magnet feel associated with the classic G12H family, but with considerably more power handling than a traditional vintage speaker.

The cabinet is rated at 150 watts and 8 ohms, so it works with a wide variety of amplifier heads and has plenty of power handling for anything from lower-wattage heads up through much more powerful amps.

This is a great cabinet if you want the fullness and projection of a larger closed-back setup without moving all the way to a 4x12. It pairs especially well with British-voiced heads and has enough low-end authority to sound much larger than a typical compact 2x12.

The cabinet will be carefully packed and fully insured for shipment.
