Description

The ESP LTD M-1 Custom '87 captures the spirit of ESP's legendary 1987 M-1 with a faithful re-creation designed for modern players. Its neck-through-body construction pairs a 3-piece maple neck with alder wings and a Macassar ebony fingerboard for a resonant tone, pronounced sustain, and a smooth, fast-playing feel. Comfortable body contours, including a generous belly cut, carved armrest, and contoured heel, make it equally suited to extended playing sessions.

A Seymour Duncan Distortion bridge humbucker delivers aggressive, high-output tone, while the EMG PA-2 boost switch provides additional power when needed. The push-pull volume control adds single-coil versatility, and the Floyd Rose 1000 locking tremolo provides the expressive pitch control and tuning stability expected from a high-performance '80s-style shred guitar.
