Music store

Closed8390 Westheimer Rd6.0 mi

With multiple locations across Houston (including Westheimer Road), they will evaluate your amp on the spot and give you cash or check the same day. Keep in mind they typically offer around 60% of the estimated used market value, so you will leave some money on the table in exchange for immediate payment.

Tips for Selling Your Amp

Call ahead: Always call the shop before driving over to confirm their current used inventory budget and ensure an appraiser is on-site.

Bring standard accessories: Make sure to bring the power cable and the footswitch if your model included one, as missing parts will drop the offer.

Consider peer-to-peer: If local shops offer less than you want, listing it locally on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist, or shipping it via Reverb, will net the highest return since you cut out the middleman storefront.

Are you looking to trade the amp for new gear, or do you just want a straight cash payout? Let me know which part of Houston you are in, and I can narrow down the closest storefront for you!

Vox Pathfinder 15 (1999, Made in Korea) – Excellent Condition

Description

Up for sale is a highly sought-after 1999 Vox Pathfinder 15 practice amplifier, manufactured during the highly regarded Made in Korea (SMC) era. Unlike the later 15R models, this is the pristine, non-reverb version from the late '90s. It features the famous black grille cloth with gold piping and the iconic Vox chicken-head knobs.

This amp is legendary for a reason—it delivers authentic, sparkling Vox chime and rich, organic overdrive that punches way above its weight class. Powered by an 8-inch vox-designed speaker, it handles pedals beautifully and gets surprisingly loud for a 15-watt solid-state amp. The built-in tremolo is lush, deep, and incredibly musical.

Condition

Overall: Excellent condition.

Cosmetics: Very clean black vinyl Tygon covering, sharp gold piping, and intact grille cloth with minimal to no signs of wear.

Functionality: 100% operational. The pots are clean, the switches are tight, and the tremolo works perfectly.
