2023 Kiesel A2M8 8-String Multiscale – Highly Optioned Custom Build

Selling my 2023 Kiesel A2 8-string multiscale custom build. This is an exceptionally striking A2 with a heavily figured Buckeye Burl top and matching Buckeye Burl headstock, roasted birdseye maple fretboard, black limba body, maple neck and gold hardware.

The guitar was ordered directly from Kiesel in 2023 and had an original invoice price of $3,249. I have the original Kiesel packing slip/build invoice documenting the specifications and options, as pictured.

The Buckeye Burl on this particular guitar is outstanding. It has a huge amount of natural variation—from the lighter burl figuring across the center of the body to the dramatic dark figuring along the lower edge and upper horn. The clear gloss finish really brings out the depth of the wood. The matching Buckeye headstock and gold hardware complete the look.

Factory specifications include:

• Kiesel A2M8 / A2 8-string multiscale
• Buckeye Burl top — $500 factory upgrade
• Matching Buckeye Burl maple headstock
• Roasted Birdseye Maple fretboard
• Maple neck
• Black Limba body
• 3-piece laminated body
• 20” fretboard radius
• Thinner neck profile
• 24 frets
• Stainless steel jumbo frets
• Luminlay inlays
• Staggered offset dot inlays
• Gold-plated hardware
• Kiesel Lithium bridge pickup
• Kiesel Lithium neck pickup
• Chrome pickup poles
• Delete-tone configuration / single volume control
• Standard 4+4 headstock
• Ebony truss rod cover
• Dunlop Straplocks
• Clear gloss finish
• Kiesel Ultimate Soft Guitar Case

The multiscale layout works particularly well on an 8-string, providing additional tension and definition on the low strings without making the upper register feel unnecessarily stiff.

Condition: Excellent condition with only very light signs of careful home use. No significant dings, chips or scratches that I can find. Please examine the high-resolution photos closely, as they form part of the condition description.

The guitar has been kept in its Kiesel case when not being played and comes with the original Kiesel Ultimate Soft Case.

This is a particularly beautiful example of an A2 and a very highly optioned build.
