VINTAGE 1968 Gibson ES 330 TD, Walnut. Rare, walnut ”long neck” example of the formidable Gibson 330 (the “cousin” to The Beatles Epiphone Casino). Limited to a select few- in late ‘67-‘69 they moved the neck tenon to match the length of the 335- so this guitar plays with the same fret access as the beloved 335.
Bought from Emerald City Guitars this year (2026), that’s the one and only Trevor Boone playing it, in the photos. It’s in the exact condition I received it. Well cared for by its original owner- note from him included (in pics) when he swapped the (included) pickups for Kent Armstrong p-90s. Sounds absolutely freaking amazing. The bigsby was added in it’s history and is period correct- works like a charm and keeps tune as well. No re-finish, no neck repair. All original and just as beautiful as the pictures. Left the glare so you can really see the finish.

This guitar is a light, approx 6lb player that also happens to be a family heirloom waiting for you. Infinitely playable with OHSC and *original 1968 Gibson pamphlet* included.

Key Details

  • Nut Width: 1 9/16" (some spec sheets or slight measuring variations list it around 1 5/8" or ~1.55"–1.56"). [1, 2, 3]
  • Historical Context: Gibson narrowed nut widths across many of its electric models starting in the mid-1960s (around 1965), moving away from the wider 1 11/16" nut width found on early-1960s and 1959 models.
  • 1968 Specs: The 1968 ES-330 is notable for featuring the "long neck" design (joined at the 19th fret rather than the older 15th-fret joint), paired with a skinny 1 9/16" nut width, a 24.75" scale length, and dual P-90 pickups.
