1983 JCM 800 2203 100W head
Vertical input era
All stock, no mods
Original transformers
Legendary hard rock, metal and alternative rock sounds
Likes V30s, greenbacks, T75s, etc
Gobbles overdrives and boosts
Low input is a great pedal platform
Can get very loud but even at low volumes, I find the 100w sounds bigger and fuller than lower wattage versions.
I've owned it for about 4 years and it's been awesome but I'm moving towards earlier sounds. Haven't had any teching on it but I haven't felt the need to, it's a great amp.
Watch out for sellers listing their 2203X reissues as 80s originals. This throws off the price guide as well. I see a couple currently listed. You can tell from the gold vs silver colors of the knobs, the reissues are golder. This one is the real deal.
Local pickup preferred.
