A rare limited model released in 2010: Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Les Paul Deluxe Reissue Mini-Humbucker, Sparkle Finish.
Inspired by the 70s Les Paul Deluxe Sparkle, whose glam look and edgy tone left a strong mark on the rock scene, this model pairs that sparkle aesthetic with Custom Shop craftsmanship. Original 70s Norlin-era Deluxes can be heavy, with inconsistent build quality and neck condition concerns; this limited model offers far higher build precision and carefully selected materials.
The rich, vivid sparkle finish stands out under stage lights. The mini-humbuckers have a more defined outline than full-size humbuckers, with single-coil-like nuance and fast attack: clear when clean, cutting through the band when driven.
Based on the 1957 Les Paul reissue, with a neck shape that is substantial without being too big, and a not-too-heavy weight balance for comfortable playability.
