Vintage Sunn Concert Lead solid-state guitar amplifier head, believed to date from the early 1970s, circa 1971.

A fantastic old Sunn with the classic silver-face appearance and the big, powerful sound these amps are known for. It has two channels, treble boost, 3-band EQ, onboard distortion and reverb, along with the distinctive vintage Sunn control layout.

I had a footswitch made for it, its an old Marshall one, the Sunn one is long since gone. Works great

The amplifier has been serviced and is in good working order. It has been tested following the service and is ready to use.

The rear panel has two speaker outputs, preamp out and power amp in connections, plus connections for the distortion and reverb footswitches. The serial number is 42302.

As you’d expect from an amp of this age, it has plenty of genuine cosmetic wear and patina. There are various scratches and marks, some tarnishing/oxidation to the metalwork and wear to the covering, corners and handle. I’ve tried to show the condition clearly in the photographs. Personally, I think the wear suits an amp of this vintage very well.

I believe this to be an early-’70s example, approximately 1971, although I haven’t verified the exact manufacturing date from internal component codes, so I’m not claiming 1971 as a definite year.
