We’ve just received a used Gretsch X4157 “BroadKaster” 14“x5.5” ~White Marine Pearl~ from Gretsch!!

We’ve unexpectedly come across a vintage snare drum—and it’s in excellent condition!!

Since it lacks the silver interior finish, it’s likely from around 1953 or earlier.

It’s in truly miraculous condition!!

There’s no peeling on the head, and of course, the microsensitive mechanism works perfectly!!

The hoops are tarnished and discolored, but this poses absolutely no problem for use!!

There are no major modifications, including the bolts!!

USA-made snare drums are extremely rare on the market right now—don’t miss this opportunity!!

~Condition~

Sun fading is visible overall. (This is more evident when the hoops are removed.)

The Micro-Sensitive mechanism is slightly loose.

Due to the oversized shell typical of this era, some drumheads may be difficult to install.

The snare wires have been replaced with Puresound.
