A 2003 1963 Stratocaster Relic crafted by Master Builder “Dennis Galuszka” has arrived in stock.

The yellowing of the topcoat due to age enhances the subtle charm of the Olympic White finish.

Since this Relic predates the recent proliferation of aging variations—such as the “Heavy Relic” style—

the paint chipping on the tremolo unit is likely part of the original design.

It also features minor dents, chips, and paint wear on the neck—details that convey a sense of its history while giving it the dignified presence of a true vintage instrument.

This particular guitar boasts excellent tonal balance, fast attack, and natural resonance, leaving a simple yet profound impression of a truly great instrument.

Even without effects, playing it clean and focusing intently on the sound reveals its inherent quality, delivering a sound that epitomizes Fender.

If you’ve been thinking, “It’s hard to really get a feel for a Master Builder model…,” please give this guitar a try.

It’s an instrument that lets you truly appreciate the quality of Master Builder products.

Unlike recent Custom Shop models, this guitar doesn’t come with a spec sheet from when it was new, but the radius is

7.25” with vintage-style frets. The neck shape is believed to be an Early ’60s “C” profile.

The fingerboard appears to be made of Madagascar rosewood.

Of course, it’s round laminate with tight grain, clearly indicating that high-quality fingerboard material was used.

It’s equipped with black-bobbin pickups, and the vintage wiring further reinforces its vintage-style aesthetic—a feature that leaves a very positive impression.

The frets have been dressed down to about 60–70% of their original height; while there is some slight wear, the guitar is still very much playable. (The nut has been replaced.)

It features a 5-way lever switch, and the half-tone function is highly recommended!

Of course, the truss rod is in perfect working order!!

Enjoy the authentic “Stratocaster” sound—one that’s not your typical Stratocaster type but is still perfectly suitable for live performances!

Included accessories: Hard case, tremolo arm, certificate of authenticity
