Schecter Ultra-III Electric Guitar in Vintage Red Finish

The Ultra-III delivers an exceptionally comfortable playing experience with its ultra-thin mahogany neck and smooth rosewood fretboard, making extended passages and fast melodic work feel effortless. The resonant mahogany body produces a woody mid-range character with excellent note definition, while the Duncan Designed pickup configuration provides versatile tonal range from warm, articulate cleans to aggressive overdriven tones. This instrument balances classic craftsmanship with practical playability, rewarding both aggressive attack and delicate finesse across a broad range of musical styles.

Playability & Feel

The thin 'C' neck profile measures .787" at the first fret and .866" at the 12th, paired with a 14" fretboard radius and 25.5" scale length to ensure comfortable reach and responsive feel. 22 X-Jumbo frets and a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.653" width) provide precision fretting and smooth string action, while the 2-way adjustable truss rod allows for personal setup preferences.

Tone & Electronics

The guitar features three Duncan Designed pickups—bridge (FG-101B), middle (FG-1010M), and neck (FG-101N)—controlled via volume, tone, and three on-off coil-split slider switches for tonal flexibility. The Bigsby Flat Top B50 bridge with roller TOM and chrome hardware ensure stable tuning and sustain, while the set-neck construction and mahogany body contribute to strong harmonic resonance.
