I bought this new from Sweetwater three years ago, and it has only been used in my smoke-free home studio. This will ship as it arrived to me, truly like new. This is Synergy's Dumble-style preamp module, based on one of the many variations of the Overdrive Special circuit. This has Dumble-style cascaded, switchable channels rather than Synergy's typical, dual-channel arrangement.

For those not particularly interested in Dumble's work, this module provides excellent cleans which can be pushed into compression, edge of breakup, and outright distortion (well beyond that of a cranked Deluxe Reverb). This easily could have enough gain for various rock styles, and it responds well to a guitar's volume knob.
