Made in Japan in 1994 to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Stratocaster, the ST62-65AS is a celebratory '62 reissue in a very nice sparkly "Shoreline Gold" finish. Alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius), the neck has the iconic "FotoFlame" laminate finish. Loaded with the original Gotoh hardware and Fender Japan ST-Vintage pickups, it weighs 3.6kg's.
Well loved overall cosmetic condition as pictured with regular wear and tear and a few bumps and bruises. Serviced prior to listing including a fret polish, truss adjustment, electronics flush and setup. A small amount of the Fotoflame has cracked but it all seems stable with no flaking or peeling.
