The Laney CUB-SUPER12 is a compact, responsive tube combo that delivers articulate breakup at manageable volumes. Its lightweight construction and footswitchable controls make it practical for gigging and studio work, while the Class AB tube topology generates genuine amplifier tone without demanding a full stage rig.

Tube Amplification & Tone

Built around 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes and 2 x EL84 output tubes, this amp produces 15 watts in Class AB mode with the ability to run at less than 1 watt, giving you tube saturation at whisper-quiet levels. The custom-designed HH 12" speaker is voiced to complement the amp's natural midrange character and clean-to-breakup response.

Controls & Connectivity

A single channel hosts a responsive 3-band EQ (treble, middle, bass), footswitchable gain boost, and spring reverb algorithm that can be toggled on the fly. Two 1/4" guitar inputs accommodate different impedance sources, while the insert-style FX loop and external speaker socket provide flexibility for effects integration and larger cabinet expansion.
