vanishingly rare Nanoloop 1.5. this is a looping step sequencer to access the Gameboy’s 4-voice synth. this is a very different take on Gameboy synthesis than the ubiquitous LSDJ tracker, and lends itself to looping, patternistic music like techno and beyond.
Nanoloop was only ever available on these premade cartridges, and 1.5 is one of the latest revisions. it is a very desirable cartridge, and this one is fully tested and working great.
i use it on an original DMG gameboy (not included), and the cartridge enables very immediate and deep sound design. Using the original DMG also allows you to take advantage of the stereo panning available with nanoloop.
