Fender Custom Shop '58 Reissue Jazzmaster Wildwood 10" 8.29 lb. JE59 Neck Profile
2023 Fender Custom Shop 58 Jazzmaster.
This one is made for playing... I find it hard to put down. I'm tempted to use a bunch of cliche's here about how it's the best Jazzmaster I've played but the details should be enough...
The neck is the JE59 neck profile (John English) with .820-.900 thickness, 10" radius and 6105 frets. It's not big, it's not small, not quite a "C" or "V" shape. It's just shaped like the space between your thumb and fingers in playing position. The 10" radius and taller frets just make it easier to play than you'd probably expect to find on most Jazzmasters.
On the other end are the hand wound flat pole JM pickups & sought after RSD bridge, select 2 pc alder body.
Weight is 8.29 pounds per Wildwood
The color is a Super Faded Sonic Blue Journeyman Relic finish. The aged tort guard and black plastics combine for a unique but still retro look... in my opinion. This could probably be considered Fenders answer to the Novo's and other modernized "offset derivative" style guitars.
It comes with the Certificate of Authenticity and the original tags/ paperwork etc as well as the strap.
