Up for sale, a 2025 Fender Limited Run Traditional II Late ‘60s Jazz Bass in showroom-clean condition,, complete with the hangtags. Rarely seen outside its country of origin, this “Made in Japan” model was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, featuring a gloss Black finish with matching headstock, a bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, and reproductions of Fender’s “lollipop” tuning machines.
Plugged in, this Jazz Bass has plenty of power and warmth on tap: the bridge pickup has the burp and presence that ensures a Jazz Bass cuts through in ensemble situations, and it's easy to dial in the right amount of midrange growl and fundamental thump when balancing the sound between the two single coils. The tone can get quite smooth and wide too, simply by rolling off the bridge pickup Volume and Master Tone control, for a thick sound that doesn't lack definition. This Traditional II Late ‘60s Jazz Bass weighs 8lbs, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-105 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
