The Academy 12e was thoroughly designed with comfort in mind, featuring a slightly shorter scale at 24", a narrower nut width at 1.6875", and a slimmer neck. Additionally, a built-in armrest is outfitted on the top of the guitar, resulting in more relaxed playing. Finally, a lighter string gauge will allow you to play for longer periods of time without becoming fatigued.
Performance
The Academy 12e comes fully loaded with onboard ES-B electronics, allowing you to plug in and amplify your Taylor on the fly.
