The Fender 75th Anniversary Player II Baritone Telecaster celebrates three-quarters of a century of one of the world's most recognisable electric guitar designs, while bringing the classic Telecaster formula into lower-register territory. Finished in striking Butterscotch Blonde, this distinctive baritone combines the familiar Telecaster character with a 27" scale length, making it ideally suited to B-to-B tuning and delivering deep, punchy low end with tight string response.

Here at Merchant City Music, we are proud to offer an extensive selection of Fender guitars and basses. Pop in to our Glasgow store for a demo or order online safe in the knowledge that you'll be receiving a professionally setup instrument shipped straight to your door.

Fender 75th Anniversary Player II Baritone Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde

The Player II Baritone Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde features an Chambered Ash body and a Maple neck with a Modern "C" profile. Its 9.5" radius Maple fingerboard has smooth rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets, providing a comfortable and familiar playing experience across the extended scale. The satin urethane finish on the back of the neck also helps provide a smooth feel for fast and fluid playing.

Two Player Series Alnico 5 Tele single-coil pickups deliver the articulate, dynamic character associated with the Telecaster, with the extended baritone scale adding extra depth and authority to the overall response. A three-position blade switch provides bridge, bridge-and-neck and neck pickup combinations, while Master Volume and Master Tone controls offer straightforward tonal adjustment.

The Telecaster's classic hardware has also been given a baritone-ready specification. A six-saddle string-through-body Tele bridge features block steel saddles, while Fender ClassicGear tuners provide precise and stable tuning adjustment. Supplied with Nickel Plated Steel strings in .013-.062 gauge, the Player II Baritone Telecaster is ready to explore everything from atmospheric low-register textures to tight riffs, chords and melodic lines.
