The Dunlop FFM1 Silicon Fuzz Face Mini delivers the bright, aggressive character of a classic silicon Fuzz Face in a much more pedalboard-friendly enclosure.

This particular example has the added distinction of being signed by Joe Bonamassa, giving it extra appeal for collectors, Bonamassa fans and Fuzz Face enthusiasts.

The FFM1 itself is based around a prized 1970 Fuzz Face and uses matched BC108 silicon transistors for cutting, harmonically rich fuzz with plenty of sustain and attitude.

Signed by Joe Bonamassa

The enclosure of this particular pedal has been signed by Joe Bonamassa.

That makes this an especially interesting example for:

• Joe Bonamassa fans

• Blues-rock collectors

• Fuzz Face enthusiasts

• Guitar memorabilia collectors

• Players looking for a distinctive signed effects pedal

Please study the listing photographs carefully for the placement and appearance of the signature.

Classic BC108 Silicon Fuzz

The FFM1 uses matched BC108 silicon transistors, giving it a brighter and more aggressive response than traditional germanium Fuzz Face designs.

Expect:

• Cutting silicon fuzz

• Strong sustain

• Rich harmonics

• Aggressive lead tones

• Excellent response to guitar volume changes

Rolling back the guitar volume allows the circuit to clean up into gritty and more dynamic lower-gain sounds.

Based on a 1970 Fuzz Face

Dunlop developed the FFM1 around a prized 1970 silicon Fuzz Face from its own collection.

It retains the classic two-control layout:

• Volume – Controls overall output

• Fuzz – Controls fuzz intensity

Compact Mini Format

The FFM1 takes the classic Fuzz Face concept and adds several modern pedalboard conveniences:

• Compact housing

• Status LED

• External power input

Fair Deal Music Verdict

The Dunlop FFM1 Silicon Fuzz Face Mini is already a strong compact option for players wanting the bright, aggressive character of a BC108-equipped silicon Fuzz Face.

What makes this particular example significantly more distinctive is the Joe Bonamassa signature on the enclosure.

For players, it still offers the responsive Volume/Fuzz controls, silicon transistor character and guitar-volume cleanup that make the Fuzz Face circuit so enduring. For collectors and Bonamassa fans, the signed enclosure adds another layer of interest beyond a standard FFM1.

Supplied without a power supply, this is a distinctive pre-owned Fuzz Face Mini with genuine player and collector appeal.
