Very Good condition for its 60 years. These guitars are known for being preferred by songwriters for their spectrum of sound and resonance. The neck on this guitar is straight and in very good condition. This guitar received a tailpiece at some point in its life - most likely before any stress related issues came to bear. Everything else is 100% original. Most of these guitars have been given tailpieces because of the stress that comes from tension from 12 strings. This guitar has a series number of 861143 stamped on the back of the headstock which I believe means it was manufactured in 1963. The guitar is in very nice shape cosmetically and plays very well. The fretboard is in amazing shape with lots of life left, the joint where there neck and body connect is super solid showing no stress or evidence of repair. The bridge is adjustable and has lots of room to dial in your preferred play. There are two parallel cracks (between bridge and guitar end) under the tailpiece that do not affect play and are hard to see unless looking up close. The space under the tailpiece between the bridge and end is very flat and the bridge is solidly attached with no gaps or any bulging whatsoever. This is a great surviver guitar and fun to play.
