Immaculate, 1959 Gibson Les Paul R9 (VOS model) in ‘Washed Cherry Sunburst', Serial no. 933146
Purchased in 2019 when we moved house, I bought a load of new gear for people to use in the new studio.
I didn't want to leave this particular guitar visible so stored it in the annexe (Insulated and Heated). Although safe and dry, painfully, was played only once or twice. Literally. I never even got around putting the pickguard on. And as you'll see, hardly a scratch.
Neck is solid, typical lacquer cracks around volume and tone knobs but barely visible at most angles. Needs a new set of strings and some of the small screws have a little rust but it really is almost untouched since 2019.
Original Box, Case, Certificate, Warranty leaflet, Pickguard with bracket and screws and tags.
