I’ve had a 1937 authentic too and let that go on Reverb - nice but very woofy and boomy if you listened to it from out front. The rear scalloped bracing on this one I feel is the sweet spot - sculpted warm bass that’s more balanced with the mids and highs. Still tons of rich glassy low end you can’t get with Indian. I’ve been through many and landed on this one. Only selling because I have a ‘62 D-28 that can’t be sold and they are both as good as each other, just different in their own ways. And I only need one d-28 at this point in time. That one is fuzzier because of the Sitka, with a tendency to sound tin-like sometimes. This one has that warm sculpted and clean Adirondack tone. .

No major dings or scratches. Just some light wear. Common binding repair. Comes with original hang tag but a generic hard case as this was living in a Calton case, so price reflects this.
