Martin 2006 CTM D-28 TC - "A step-up D-28."
The D-28, synonymous with the folk guitar, was hugely popular in the folk era and remains one of the most sought-after guitars on the vintage market. The powerful voice of its dreadnought body is still at home in all kinds of music today.
This Custom Shop model uses the woods of the 40-series. The top is select Sitka spruce, and the back and sides are quartersawn Indian rosewood, whose straight grain - a Martin hallmark - enhances the guitar's beauty. The backstrip uses a zigzag pattern. The fingerboard is jet-black ebony with shell dot position markers. The select hardwood neck has a slim C shape for a comfortable grip, with the volute characteristic of the D-28. The ebony bridge carries a short saddle. The Indian rosewood-veneered headstock has a sharp shape, and instead of the usual raised gold logo, the CTM model features the vintage logo. Grover 102C tuners provide smooth tuning.
A Custom Shop D-28 that is otherwise an authentic D-28 apart from the top wood. Recommended for anyone wanting a step-up D-28 or a Custom Shop Martin.

No major finish damage or cracks; clean condition for its age. Nut replaced.
[Playing Condition]
Action at the 12th fret: 2.4mm low E side, 1.9mm high E side. Saddle protrusion approximately 2.0-3.5mm. No choking or buzzing; playing condition is good.
