A used 2023 Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue has just arrived!

The Historic Collection is a line within the Gibson brand dedicated to faithfully reproducing vintage Gibson models. Its meticulous attention to detail has captivated countless guitarists.

This model recreates the legendary 1959 Les Paul Standard?particularly popular during Gibsonfs gGolden Erah and affectionately known as the gBurst.h It features a two-piece maple top with a beautiful wide flame pattern cut from straight-grained wood, a one-piece mahogany back, a solid mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.
The set-neck construction features a long tenon and is glued using animal glue, faithfully reproducing vintage Gibson manufacturing techniques such as the tubular truss rod and long studs/anchors.

The headstock features the Gibson logo, a silkscreen-printed gLes Paul Modelh inscription, and Kluson Single Line/Single Ring tuners.
The bound neck with dish inlays features the gAuthentic f59 Medium Ch neck profile?which has just the right thickness to fit comfortably in the hand?and 22 medium-jumbo frets, boasting exceptional playability.

It is equipped with two gCustom Bucker (Unpotted)h pickups using Alnico 3 magnets. The 2-Vol/2-Tone/3-Way Selector controls utilize CTS pots with a vintage curve, Luxe Bumblebee replica capacitors, and Switchcraft jacks.

The finish is gGreen Lemon Fade,h which shows signs of aging, such as fading in the reddish tones of the sunburst. The back features gFaded Back,h which replicates the look of faded aniline dye, and the finish is VOS.

While the guitar is in relatively good condition, it does have some scratches and dents from use, and there are buckle marks on the back of the body.
The frets retain sufficient height?approximately 80% remains?and we have confirmed that the truss rod rotates 60 degrees in both directions.

It comes with the original brown case, certificate of authenticity, medallion, switch knobs (amber), and various tags.
