2013 Ernie Ball Music Man Steve Morse Y2D "Dark Lord" - Limited Edition (Hardtail)

2013 Ernie Ball Music Man Steve Morse Y2D "Dark Lord" - Limited Edition (Hardtail)

Up for sale is a rare and highly collectible 2013 Ernie Ball Music Man Steve Morse Y2D "Dark Lord" in very good condition. Co-designed by Steve Morse and Joe Bonamassa, this limited-edition run is a masterclass in tone, aesthetics, and playability.

The "Dark Lord" takes the standard Y2D platform and adds several distinct upgrades:

• The Neck Profile: Unlike the standard slim Steve Morse neck, the Dark Lord features a noticeably thicker, chunkier neck carve requested by Joe Bonamassa to mimic a vintage feel.
• Reverse Headstock: It features a distinct reversed, black headstock design with Steve Morse signature.
• Premium Woods: It uses a figured, roasted flame maple neck finished with gunstock oil and wax paired with a premium Black Burst finish over a flame maple top for the body.
• Chrome Covers: The DiMarzio humbuckers come dressed in chrome covers giving it a sleek, stealthy aesthetic compared to the open-coil humbuckers pickups on stanard Y2D.

This specific guitar has been meticulously cared for over the years and shows very little wear.

Absolutely outstanding quality of selected woods, craftsmanship, handling and sound.
