This Vox MV50 High Gain 50-watt mini tube amp head is in very good condition and fully functional. Comes with OEM power supply and TourMate travel case.
The Vox MV50 High Gain is an ultra-compact 50-watt hybrid guitar amplifier head driven by Korg's innovative Nutube technology, offering authentic tube response in a 1.1-pound package.
Features:
- Power Output: 50W RMS at 4 ohms, 25W at 8 ohms, and 12.5W at 16 ohms.
- Preamp: Korg Nutube 6P1 vacuum fluorescent technology mimicking traditional tube dynamics.
- Power Amp: Class D power section.
- Controls: Front-mounted Gain, Tone, and Volume knobs alongside an analog VU meter.
- Rear Panel: Line/headphone output with speaker emulation, a cabinet EQ switch (Flat/Deep), and a mid-control switch (Flat, Cut, Boost).
- Tone & Performance: Reviewers from Guitar World note that despite its tiny footprint, the MV50 High Gain pumps out aggressive, heavy distortion and modern metal tones with surprising low-end punch and volume.
