Collings 71 M – Antiqued Jet Black – Mint Condition – Super Light 6 lbs 10.8 oz

This Collings 71 M is in mint condition and is an exceptionally light example at just 6 lbs 10.8 oz.

Finished in Antiqued Jet Black with the mint pickguard, it looks fantastic. The slightly hazy/distressed appearance in the black finish is Collings’ intentional factory antiquing and not wear, damage, or finish checking. There are no dents or dings, and the guitar has seen almost no use since I bought it.

It plays exactly as you’d expect from Collings. The action is low, the intonation is dialed in, tuning is excellent, and it sounds fantastic. The combination of the Lollar JM-style pickups, Mastery bridge and vibrato, and incredibly light ash body makes this a particularly lively and resonant 71 M.

I bought it very recently and simply haven’t used it enough to justify keeping it, so it’s essentially in the same condition in which I received it.
