This keyboard has been well gigged but 2 weeks ago it gave up with outputting sound properly.
It was originally my Dad's keyboard which he bought from new in 1995 and gigged it right until now.
Issues include
- not outputting sound (sounds like something could be corrupt on circuit board)
- had problem with the volume fader deffo... the white in it was where my dad had some gaffer on it to apply some pressure to keep it on. I soldered up the joints inside and it worked again. Resoldered it a couple of times now though.
- display comes on and off.... tried to bypass the contrast on the circuit board a while back which worked but it has its moment. Sometimes when the display goes i just push the screen and it comes back to life
I'm ever so sad to sell this but I feel I cannot invest the time to keep it alive. The sounds in it are amazing for a synth of it's age.
I think someone could get this working again....
