Fender FSR American Deluxe Vintage Player ’62 Stratocaster – Ice Blue Metallic – 2005 – Used

An exceptional player with vintage looks, modern versatility, and plenty of natural character. This USA-made Fender FSR American Deluxe Vintage Player ’62 Stratocaster combines a thin-skin nitrocellulose lacquer finish and matching headstock with a comfortable neck and versatile S-1 switching.

The original Ice Blue Metallic finish has aged into a beautiful greenish hue, complemented by a pickguard that has yellowed over time. There are notable dings, chips, and areas of finish wear consistent with years of honest playing and the thin lacquer finish. This is natural playwear, with no structural issues. Please review the photographs closely for the guitar’s cosmetic condition.

The guitar is set up with low action and has a slim, fast-feeling neck. The neck is straight with appropriate relief, and the frets are level with the vast majority of their usable life remaining. There is light wear to the fret crowns, but no major pitting or significant fret wear.

The bridge pickup has been replaced with a later Fender N3 Noiseless pickup, while the neck and middle pickups remain stock. All three pickups and the S-1 switching function properly, offering familiar Strat sounds along with additional tonal combinations. The original backplate is also missing.

A beautifully aged American Strat with excellent feel, versatile electronics, and outstanding playability. Available in store or order online!
