This is an original-generation Fender Blues Junior (not the NOS, III, or Lacquered Tweed versions). The plate reads “Type PR 295,” made in Corona, CA, with a B-prefix serial number. It has the blonde/wheat tolex with oxblood grille cloth, chrome top control panel, chicken-head knobs, and brown leather handle.

Classic American-made Fender Blues Junior in blonde tolex with an oxblood grille. Type PR 295, serial B-138774, built in Corona, CA.

A great-sounding small tube amp for home, studio, and small gigs. It gets a sweet Fender clean tone and breaks up nicely when pushed.

• 15 watts, all tube: 2x EL84 power tubes, 3x 12AX7 preamp tubes
