106 years young and never had a bad day, this unblemished 1920 Vega Little Wonder "Git-Jo" is everything a 6-string banjo should be. The rigid maple construction has stood up to the years well, and the neck is quite straight with very good playability. This instrument was professionally fitted with Planetary type tuners in the 1980's, otherwise all original, with what appears to be the OHSC in very good condition (all original hardware except maybe the handle, all working, case is solid). A bit proud of 1 3/4" at the nut w/a typically flat fingerboard, almost a classical guitar feel. Perfect for the Rev. Gary Davis repertoire and a whole lot more, these banjos are often imitated but the originals are still the best. This is pretty much a museum grade example of a classic instrument.
