The American Special series is widely regarded as one of Fender's best modern values, blending vintage aesthetics with player-centric upgrades. This guitar features a striking, large '70s-style headstock, a comfortable modern "C" shape maple neck, and a maple fretboard fitted with 22 jumbo frets that make bending effortless.Under the hood, it comes factory-equipped with high-output Fender Texas Special single-coil pickups. They provide that iconic, muscular Texas blues growl with plenty of mid-range bite. It also features Fender’s factory Greasebucket Tone Circuit, which allows you to roll off the high end without losing gain or adding muddy bass response.The guitar is fully original with no modifications.
