I have a 2020 Fender American Professional II Stratocaster here in Miami Blue. It comes with its hard shell case. I do not have the original paperwork with this one. I assure you it is unequivocally genuine, though. Also note that it has upgraded Fender drop in locking tuners.

Conditionally, this guitar looks nice with just some light playwear that I will describe for you.

The body top shows a typical sheen of guitar pick strumming on the plastic pickguard. There is some guitar pick strumming above the pickguard too, in the forearm area near the corner of the bridge. There is a similar section of light surface scuffing and faint surface scratches. Not deep or penetrating, or anything I would constitute as buckle rash, but comparable to swirling and pick strumming. I did not find any singular marks or any notable playwear on the body top.

The body sides/edges show one small finish crack at the neck pocket. This is a pretty typical one I've seen about a hundred of these over the years. It's about 1 to 2 mm in size and does not affect the structure of the wood. It doesn't even go all the way through to the wood. It's a checking mark, a little split in the outermost finish. This commonly happens when guitars are shipped. So no biggie. See the last picture for that.

Beyond that one mark, the body edges look very clean. I found just faint traces of use, but no chips or any notable marks.

The body back shows scattered light surface playwear. Nothing consolidating to form a noticeable pattern. I don't see anything I would quantify as buckle rash or worming. But it's more so the lower intensity playwear similar to what I described on the body top. So there's a scattering of that here and there, but no heavy accumulation or patterns. I didn't find any chips or dings.

The neck shaft contour looks and feels excellent, with nothing to report there. The headstock shows a couple tiny indentation bumps that are about a millimeter in size, but no major marks.

The frets are still tall and meaty. I see a little bit of fretwear, just a little trace, mostly on the B and G string frets. Nothing sinking in too deep that would affect playability. Just a small amount from honest playing.

The setup plays fantastic. It has a perfectly level tremolo float, and it plays with a nice action that is just under 2 mm at the 12th fret, which is the modern measurement for a nice low action. So it plays like butter. The original electronics are working as they should.

This one rates an 8.5/10 and grades as very good. That's about right in the middle of very good. I found some light surface playwear as noted on the body. That said, it's fairly discreet. It's still the type that you have to examine the guitar to find it. I didn't find any overt, noticeable playwear that stands out immediately. Likewise, there's a little bit of use on the frets, but they're still big and tall and the setup plays exceptionally well. The guitar is structurally and sonically sound, is attractive, and sounds like a nice Strat should.

The American Professional Pro II is not much of a departure from the American Pro or it's the Predecessor the American Standard. Your getting a high end American Strat with the most popular features .

Note that this listing may come down at anytime as I am a multi-platform seller and do sell locally and on my own Site as well in an effort to keep sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged On Reverb sales when applicable, so factor that in to your purchase.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.
