ULTRA-RARE 2014 Ernie Ball Music Man Luke II SSH — Solid 1-Piece Rosewood Neck — Luke Blue

This is not a standard Luke II.

Around 2014–2015 Music Man built a very small number of Steve Lukather signature Luke IIs with a solid one-piece rosewood neck instead of the usual maple neck + rosewood board. That change is the entire point of this guitar: a smoother, oil-and-wax “raw wood” feel, extra warmth and sustain, and a tone that sits differently than every maple-neck Luke II on the market. Pair that with the original-era Luke Blue finish — the pearlescent metallic blue Music Man used on Lukather’s signature model in those years — and you have one of the hardest Luke IIs to find, especially this clean.

Condition

Mint. Spent its life in the case. No dings, no buckle rash, no fret wear, no tarnish on the hardware, no battery-box corrosion. Frets are full and clean. Neck is straight. Electronics are quiet and original. Looks and plays like it just left San Luis Obispo.
