Here's the cheap man's Marshall Guv'nor, and it's earned that comparison for a reason. Word on the street (backed up by plenty of players who've actually gigged both) is the Daddy-O runs the same basic circuit as that classic Marshall crunch box, at a fraction of the price. It nails that cranked-stack British sound convincingly enough that people keep buying it specifically to skip paying Guv'nor money.

There are only two knobs on the surface, Volume and O Drive, but that undersells what's going on underneath. A three-band EQ gives you independent control over Bass, Middle, and Treble, which is an unusual amount of tone shaping for a pedal in this price range. That range lets you chase a cranked British stack sound, a Texas blues crunch, or push everything up for something closer to higher-gain distortion, all without leaving the same box.

It's built like the rest of Danelectro's late-90s stompbox lineup: big, heavy, and genuinely tank-like. That's quite the selling point if you've ever had a lightweight pedal skitter across the floor mid-set. Players also stack it with other drives on their board, running it after a distortion pedal to add extra crunch and sustain for lead tones, which is a trick worth trying if you've got another overdrive already in your chain.

Runs on a 9V center-negative power supply (not included) or an internal 9V battery.

USED, EXCELLENT condition. No Velcro on the back.
