Originally leaving the factory in a metallic shade, the clear nitrocellulose topcoat has naturally yellowed over the past 45 years. This beautiful, authentic vintage aging process has shifted the color into a striking, vibrant avocado/olive green shade that looks incredible in person.The guitar is a rock-solid player with a resonant mahogany body, a fast neck, and an ebony fretboard with dot inlays. It retains its iconic branded "Gibson" logo on the headstock face.Cosmetic Condition:
The guitar is in beautiful vintage condition with standard natural patina. It has a single, very minor cosmetic surface scratch on the lower face of the body below the tailpiece/bridge assembly (as shown clearly in the close-up photos).
