Martin “X Series Special” Acoustic/Electric Guitar 2024 - Matte Formica

I looked this one over for faults, but found nothing worth mentioning besides a little corrosion on the strings. You can grouse about it being made in Mexico, and the entire outside composed of a Formica-reminiscent matte surface, but it sounds really nice, deep and rich, like you’d expect from a Martin. That outer surface probably resists scratches and dings better than wood will, also. The neck is slender, an eighth inch less wide than almost every other guitar I tried, and not very thick either. It has a pickup on the right side of the sound hole, controls opposite, and a 9v battery case right next to the cord jack. Comes as you see it, with the padded factory soft case, so go ahead and BUY!
