I’m selling my Taylor 222ce-K DLX, a beautifully made Grand Concert electro-acoustic with a solid Hawaiian koa top and layered koa back and sides.

Its compact body, shorter scale and 1 11/16-inch nut width make it particularly comfortable and easy to play. The koa gives it a warm, clear and well-balanced voice that works equally well for strumming, accompaniment and fingerstyle playing. The Venetian cutaway also provides easy access further up the fingerboard.

The guitar is fitted with Taylor’s Expression System 2 electronics, making it ready for live performance or recording. Its gloss-finished koa body is especially attractive, with plenty of natural figuring and character.

The guitar is in excellent condition, with no blemishes or marks on the body, neck or headstock. The only evidence of use is the normal light signs of playing on the pickguard. It has been carefully looked after and comes with its original Taylor hard case.

I’m only selling because I am reshaping my small guitar collection, rather than because of any issue with the instrument.
