For sale is this serviced and modified Polysix.

_ The CPU board has been replaced with the KiwiSix board from Kiwitechnics.

This adds a vast array of extra features (storage for 512 presets instead of the original 32, full MIDI implementation — CC, Sysex, 4096-step NRPN — advanced clock and arpeggiator functions, a sequencer, etc. ; see the Kiwitechnics website for details).

_ A modification allowing for the connection of a sustain pedal has been installed (pedal not included).

_ The highly sought-after "Polysex" modification by Tubbutec has been installed (see the Tubbutec website for details).

_ The hardwired power cable has been replaced with a standard IEC socket, which is much more convenient (power cable included).

_ The synthesizer's grounding circuit has been overhauled to minimize noise, and ferrite beads have been fitted to the data lines to eliminate interference.

This synth is now ready for years of reliable service in a modern studio. There is no risk of battery leakage destroying the CPU board (a problem that affects 100% of Polysix units sooner or later). You get the warmth of vintage analog sound combined with the capabilities of a modern synth.
