Product Details
The BENSON AMPS GERMANIUM BOOST is a clean booster pedal utilizing germanium transistors, manufactured by Benson Amps, based in Portland, USA.
A key feature of this unit is its built-in circuit that corrects the bias of the germanium transistors. It aims for stable operation while minimizing variations due to temperature and component characteristics, and input impedance and headroom have also been carefully considered. The controls are simple, making it easy to integrate into various settings, including guitar and bass.
The sound is based on a clean boost, but its appeal lies in the smoothness and subtle nuances added by passing the signal through the germanium transistors. It's effective not only for increasing volume but also for pushing the input stage of an amplifier. It can be used not only with guitars but also with basses and acoustic guitar pickups, and despite its simple configuration, it can be used in a wide range of situations.
Recommended for those who want to not just level up their sound, but also incorporate the unique texture of germanium while enhancing the performance of their amplifier and other effects pedals.
Don't miss this opportunity to purchase it.
